I had almost given up on the fact that I would ever get married, but Heavenly Father knows better and has a different time table than I and man I am sure glad He does. Jon has been a gift.
On September 17, 2007 Jon took me on a trip down his memory lane. We drove down to Wetaskiwin, where he grew up, and he took me to the schools he went to, where he played hockey as a child, the house he grew up in. We then drove to this field over by the house and got out and looked at the stars. He said that he shared with me parts of his past and he was hoping that he could share the rest of eternity with me. I of course said yes!!!!
Jon has been the greatest gift Heavenly Father could ever give me and I am truly thankful that as tough as it was I was able to wait until now.

Erika - I am so stinkin' excited about everything that has happened for you in the last few months. You deserve every bit of that happiness that you are enjoying! I wish we had been able to get to the reception...
